Order Cd 987 030-2     Critique “Timeless Flow”    Tony Renold Quartet 2005 Mystical atmosphere, the Swiss drummer surprises  all  with a balanced, harmonic and melodically mature quartet.  The group consists of  Michael Grossmann trumpet, Michael Bucher guitar, Patrick Sommer bass and Tony Renold drums.  After a lifespan of over 20 years playing jazz ( and other musical styles ), the sensitive drummer is presenting his own work, which gives the outstanding soloists plenty of room for improvising.  A good-feeling, at times meditative C.D, with floating lyrical tones makes for an elevated  listening experience.
